Mission Statement
To reach people with the Gospel and
lead them into a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. To
encourage unity within the Body of Christ as a congregation and empower people to answer
God's call on their lives.
No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14 : 6
Who Are We? Our congregation includes people of all ages from diverse denominational backgrounds, yet each sharing the common goal of following God's plan for His Church. 2002 Vision Our most exciting goal for 2002 is to build a church home that will give Glory to the Lord Almighty. We will step out in faith as we follow God's plan for His Church. We will firmly stand on God's Word and seek Him in all we do. We will continue to support and expand our music ministry, develop dynamic children's and youth programs, and implement small groups that will fulfill the needs of all.
"...you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood,
offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ."
1. The Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are the inspired Word of God, the complete and flawless revelation of His will for the salvation of all and the supreme authority on its teachings.
2. There is only one God, the
Creator of all
3. Jesus Christ, the Son, was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life as a man, willingly died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins, arose bodily from the dead, and ascended into Heaven to sit at the right hand of the Father as our Advocate.
4. The ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, to convict all, regenerate the believing sinner, indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer to live and serve according to God's will.
5. All people are created in the image of God and he cares deeply for them. The Bible reveals God's love for all people and His desire for them to live in communion with Him and in community with each other.
6. Through sin all people are
spiritually lost; but through Jesus Christ they can receive salvation and eternal life. 7. The shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only grounds for salvation--a gift from God that cannot be earned through human "works". Only those who humbly repent, who believe that His sacrifice on their behalf is a finished work, and who put their faith in Jesus Christ are born of the Holy Spirit, and thus, are given eternal life as children of God.
8. Water baptism and the Lord's Supper are ordinances observed by the Church--each as a confirmation of faith.
9. The return of our Lord Jesus Christ is imminent and essential to fulfill God's promise and eternal plan for His people.
10. After death, the unbeliever will face separation from God and everlasting condemnation. The believer will enjoy everlasting blessedness and joy in the presence of the Lord.
11. All believers who are born of the Holy Spirit are, thus, united as members of the one true Church--the Body of Christ, of which He is the Head. Spiritual unity among Christians is furthered by acceptance and love of one another across ethnic, cultural, socioeconomic, national, generational, gender, and denominational lines.
12. In this church believers
come together to worship, pray, teach, and support and encourage one another, in order to
build up the Body of Christ.
We realize that the most important aspect of the Christian life is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We encourage an individual's growth in their union with Christ.
John 3 : 1 Evangelize: Our goal is to evangelize by reaching out with love and sharing the Good News of the Gospel to all who will listen.
Matthew 28 : 18-20
